26. Clint Barmes
27. *Daniel Murphy
28. Eugenio Velez

Comments: Ramirez's profile has "second year slump" written all over it, but I'll listen to the pro side from you, below . . . I think I'm over my Weeks fascination, finally . . . Ellis can be a sneaky multi-cat guy if he's healthy and in the right lineup . . . Murphy was exclusively an outfielder for the Mets this year, but it wouldn't surprise me if they give him a shot at the second-base gig.

Please.

I'm only really paying attention to first 10-12 here and its not a bad list at all. Needs to flip Phillips and Roberts as well as Uglla and Pedroia - that's how I would have my top 10. Alexei Ramirez deserves to be #7, I would take him before Cano, Kendrick and co.

Hmmm doubt it, there isn't much at between them. Uggla has an edge in HRs and RBIs, Pedroia in runs, SBs and BA. Pedroia broke out this year, Uggla has now had 3 consistent years. Uggla for me by the slightest of the margins.

he didn't "break out"

He built upon a rookie of the year campaign,,

Break out is when you bat .217 for parts of 5 seasons and then find your way to a needle full of HGH,,,

Anybody ranking for 2009 in ANY baseball scoring format will take Pedroia before Ugly,,,

Guaranteed,,,

By anybody I'll assume you are talking about Yahoo, ESPN, Rotoworld etc. Off course they will, Pedroia plays for Red Sox. Hell they'll probably rank Cano above both Pedroia and Uggla.
