Welcome to THE UPPER MANAGEMENT. Fantasy Sports Neighborhood.
You are currently viewing the UM as a guest, which gives you limited access to view most discussions and access our other features.
The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today! |

| LaPorta - he's a better hitter than Snider and has more power. Snider projects as a 30-HR guy while LaPorta could hit 40 one day. Snider is awfull defensively and will be a full time DH while LaPorta has a chance to stick at 1B. I dont know how LaPorta's D would rate at 1B (probably average at best) but he's a liability at OF.

LaPorta. Better hitter, better fielder (not hard to top Snider's fielding). _________________

| LaPorta is better. While neither one will be an average defender at any position, LaPorta is going to at least have a shot of gaining eligibility in the outfield or at first base where Snider has a legit shot of being UTIL only, very early in his career depending on Toronto's use of him/Lind/Overbay.

Snider may get a shot at 1st base eligibility depending on their moves this off-season.He's so far staying put in a 4 man outfield rotation, where the 4th guy plays DH.
Laporta has the edge on Snider, due to his power. If Snider hits 25 Laporta would get 30 etc....

LaPorta.
The man hasn't been able to hit his arse with a banjo since playing for the US, but he'll get back there soon.
