Some of the ommisions which deserve an honorable mention were Chris Davis, Jesus Montero and Matt Antonelli. I guess you can call them our honorable mention list. Then their were players who made huge jumps from previous rankings who did not make the list but deserve some mentioning .. such as a Jaime Garcia, Craig italiano and Henry Rodriguez.

Yeah Matt Antonelli was abit unlucky to miss out. Davis a tad unlucky too - Biz would have him in top 10 vzcoolz1 vzcoolz1 - MAN CRUSHHHHH.

Antonelli was in at an early stage but there were just too many guys who had a better case.

Hehe... 6 Rays on the list. Awesome.

And Jeremy Hellickson might be there soon too. Plus, in July you might add another one.

Niemann?

Koby, in the next edition can you add the teams that these prospects play on? Because I am looking to see if their are any Tiger prospects to look out for and I have no way of knowing who they are.

Rick Porcello is the only Tiger that will be on this list all year, barring a trade. Hate to burst your bubble. But sure thing. We'll get Team & Position next time.

Thank you.

Sorry Koby, another question. Cards' Chris Perez is very close to a promotion. He could be closing as early as next year while he should be pretty good option for leagues with holds this year. How close was he to making this list and where would he rank if this list was expended to 100? (rough estimate)...

Close. But he's more of a 65-75 guy.

Very nice read guys. I hear all the time on sports radio that Michael Bowden may be better then Justin Masterson. So why is their no love for Bowden on your list?

It's his delivery that gets me. He's very long in his motions leading to inconsistency and poor command. He may turn into a better pitcher than Masterson, but I don't think he will.

Do you project Lowrie to be more than a utility guy? I smell BP's man milk on Gamel's ranking

Ga-Ga for Gamel!! mr zgreenz1 mr zgreenz1

No Koby and I both collaberated and agreed on Gamel's ranking. I don't think at this point any list can deny that Gamel is a top 50 prospect or at least very near it. even with his defensive deficiencies.

Yes. I think he'll be relegated to a utility role for the time being in Boston but I think he'll be an above average 2B or a marginally above average 3B when he's traded.

Just wondering why Buchholz, Chaimberlain and Cueto are considered prospects when they started the year in the major leagues?

Hey Q, Any player that is still rookie eligible will be on this list as well as most other prospect lists. Rookie eligibility for hitters are 130AB's or less. For pitchers it is 50 innings or less.

Buchholz has surpassed the IP limit since the list was created.
Chamberlain may exhaust his eligibility by the next list. I think he needs 16 more innings
Cueto will exhaust his eligibility next week barring injury.

Sean Gallagher has top of the rotation potential. 3 great pitches and has great minor league numbers. Why no love?
