| Red Sox placed Clay Buchholz on the disabled list with a broken nail on his finger. Bartolo Colon or Justin Masterson will be called up to take his place.

Phil Hughes pitched with a broken rib for who knows how long. Then again he SUCKED so maybe it is better to be a pussy and hit the DL. I would bring up Masterson if I were the Sox. _________________ Yankees have not won a WS with a Republican in power since Ike... We're Back Baby!!

Couldn't he just use Lee press ons and put on a new nail - or would his polish not match then?

Better safe than sorry as some would say,,,
I figure there was an obvious ulterior motive:
Im certain someone in the Redsox organization is dying to get Colon activated, so they can figure out if his fatass has anything left in the tank sooner rather than later,, _________________

| Indians' starters have a current 43 1-3 consecutive scoreless innings streak. Laffey started it and will look to continue it today against A's...

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Ryan Braun and the Brewers have agreed to terms on a seven-year contract extension.
The team has called a press conference for Thursday morning to announce the deal, which is expected to exceed the $31 million contract that Troy Tulowitzki signed with the Rockies. Braun was already under the team's control through 2013, so a seven-year contract would give the Brewers cost certainty while buying out his first year of free agency. _________________

For those people that like fun facts:
3 straight losses for Red Sox after jumping out to 3-0 leads in each game... (yeah I know useless info lol).

Went to the Mets-Nats game today... 1-0 pitchers duel between Bergmann and Pelfrey (lol? didn't predict that...). But what I took away from it is that the Nats are an amazing defensive club. It's just too bad that have... oh... 1 real hitter. Pelfrey had a no-no broken up in the 7th by CLEANUP HITTER AARON BOONE.
But Willie Harris made a ridiculous catch to save the game in the 9th, full extension! take a look... should be in this highlight package: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=280515121 _________________

| Brandon Webb is trying to make it 9 wins from 9 starts tonight and is dealing so far, 5 Ks in 4 and only gave up a single to Clint Barmes...

| It gets better for Webb, 6 innings of 2 hit ball (0 ER and 7 Ks) and D-Backs scored 4 runs in 5th to extend the lead to 5-0. Stephen Drew is also 4-4 and HR away from hitting for cycle...
