But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. UM’s ‘Bet the House’ is our 2nd Gamedayritual.com Sponsered event! The good guys at GDR have been the Upper Management’s biggest supporter and have decided to offer up another prize for the winner of this illustrious UM game!
Here is how it works. Starting July 17th 1 day after the all-star break and ending on August 17th, each member that participates will receive 1,000 dollars in NeighborCASH to bet on games throughout this challenge which will last 1 month. So there is plenty of time to win and lose and or go on hot steaks or cold ones… Use your money at your decresion but understand that if you lose all your money you will be out of the competition.
Their is no point speads in any games, you simply try and pick winners. There is no limit or time frame of how many games you have to bet, you simply have to have the most money by the end of this competition. There will be a scoreboard in an I-frame box to view and each bet must be in 10 min. before the game you are betting starts. Once you make a bet, that bet CAN NOT be changed as I have set the board restriction to ‘No Edit’ and No delete’ so what ever you put in will stick, and their will be a time stamp next to that bet to verify the time.
The following day, in your sportsbook, Someone from the competition committee will go into your thread and verify your bets and well as calculate your new bankroll. A scoreboard will be up where each persons bankroll figures will be posted.
Bet The House only allows 2 types of bets:
1) Straight Bets
2) 2 Game parlay’s
Below is some important rules of our betting:
- Each participant starts off with 1,000 dollars in bankroll.
- Minimum bet is 5 dollars
- Maximum Bet is 500 Dollars
- Straight bet – You bet 1 game and what ever you wage is the amount you will win or lose. Example: If you bet 50 dollars you will either win 50 if or lose 50.
- 2 game Parlay – A 2 game ‘Parlay Bet’ is a bet whereby the player takes two, games all in the same bet, To win a parley, you must win both games. Winning both games will earn you 4x the amount you bet. If you lose ANY of those 2 games, you lose the amount you bet.
Winning Example: You waged 50 dollars on a 2 game parley. You won both games so you won 200 dollars.
Losing Example: You waged 50 dollars on a 2 game parley. You won 1 game and lost the other, therefore you lost what you waged which was 50 dollars.
If you want to be apart of this competition, your name will have to be on our gamedayritual Bet the House sign up sheet by -----
The prize/s for this game are still being worked out by Upper Management and our boys from GDR, but be assured the prize will be worth betting the house!!

| Disclaimer: If this game leads you to make actual bets which cause you to lose money, which in turn makes you borrow money from a friend... which you don't pay back cause of the 5,200 you lost last week. In turn he goes and tells your wife, who gets so pissed she fucks your best friend, which drives you to rekindle that old cocaine habit of yours ... which escalates to the point you sell your daughters panties for money and lose 6 of your teeth .... The Upper Management is not responsible.

| Scoring Change: 2 Game Parlay's are now paying 3 to 1 odd's. I found that there is a loophole in the system which allows managers to bet 4 specific games each day which automaticaly makes them money at 4-1 odds. At 3 to 1 it becomes a wash. So all 2 game parlays moving forward pay 3 to 1 odds.

| Attention: From the dates of August 13th through the final day of this competition which is August 17th. I will be allowing all bets to be sent to me via PM. This will keep away any type of foul play at the end as the leaders of the board may simply look at what the 2nd place team is betting and bet the same thing.
