CFB Announcers have been throwing around the term "upset" pretty liberally today. Now, they're calling a possible Alabama win an "upset" as well as a possible Illinois win. DEFINITELY, I do NOT consider a #8 team victory over a #3 team an upset. #22 over #12 is a little closer, but still...this is a Big 10 game, no upset. Bah, announcers.

Anytime one number is lower than the other those announcers will call it an upset-- the higher ranked team is often "expected" to win.

With both Georgia and Penn State at home, I would call either of these games upsets if the lower ranked team wins as well.

With no solid basis I am calling for Illinois over Penn State tonight. And Georgia to win.

Would #2 beating #1 at home be an upset? No way.

Regardless, I think Bama and Penn State will win. Although I am rooting for ILL.

Jesus-- ROLL TIDE? Yeah, just a little bit.

Well #2 over #1 in my book isn't an upset because those teams are separated by inches-- but to the commentators yes that is an upset.

I keep flipping away when Illinois has the ball, but it seems both teams are driving effortlessly.

I think Penn State will put their foot down in the 2nd half...but Illinois might keep it close till then. I just don't see enough depth on their side...

Illinois' defense is doing them no favors. Penn State keeps picking up yards after a missed tackle or the first hit. Unless they can start wrapping guys up, yeah, this is going to get ugly. Plus, they look lost trying to read what Daryll Clark is doing on every play. Yeah, this second half could take a turn for the worse.

Upset?

An upset for me is quite simple,,,

Losing money on a bet,,,

But honestly, when it comes to CFB, anything can happen with the constant turnover of talent,,,
