You are currently viewing the UM as a guest, which gives you limited access to view most discussions and access our other features.

The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!

The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today!

LMAO

When did Taveras come off the DL?

Just making the move official.

Why bother? How 'official' was it putting Taveras on the DL in the first place?

Like I said, and read it slow this time so you can understand, When Sandbox placed a red mark next to his name in the game and it said they were going to send him to the DL I placed him on the DL according to the rules of the game. When I saw he was not on the DL, I placed him back on my roster but could not get to the site to make the transaction and then I forgot about it as a long time went by. I do not care if you agree with it or not and I am not sure what is stuck up you butt.

You can't demote to low minors. You need to add a FA player if you promote someone to high minors.

Well Alice, I guess it's your low regard for playing by the rules that's stuck up my butt. Funny how you could 'forget' to take a player off DL when you're looking at his name every time you have to set your roster. Funnier still that you have an excuse for every occasion. Funniest of all is that your excuses always involve being ignorant, lazy, helpless, forgetful, uninformed, unaware, unobservant, or just borderline retarded.

Like I said stick it up your back side. I do not need your approval as you are nothing more than a jerk and could not understand access problem with the site or the time I have put into work the last year not to mention my family. Maybe you have lots of free time but I do not. So piss off. I am done with you

Yeah, can we just keep this thread for transactions?

If you have a problem with what someone is doing, take it to the commish via PM.

Don't waste your time Ryno-

Rich and Vdog have had a hate-hate relationship for years now,,,

Their presence on the Sandbox forums is like the married couple that gets divorced and remarried a half dozen times---

I actually find it quite humorous and an enjoyable read-

Perhaps I am just easily amused?

Oh, well, as long as there's a logical reason for it.

I am not a lying sack of shit. I speak what's on my mind plainly and honestly. I play by the rules and I'm not afraid to make tough decisions.

Looks like you had you own infractions so maybe you do not play by the rules and that would make your first statement false. Maybe it is time to let it go as you are not perfect either. So until you run your team without errors you have no room to talk.

vdogk9 team review:

1) Andy LaRoche should be a $5M player because he was picked in the 2nd round of the prospect draft. This is listed incorrectly in the price guide. At the time you traded for him, it looks like it was understood he only cost $3M. I think the fair solution is to have NDStoverMSU retroactively give you an extra $2M for this year. You actually exceeded the salary cap during the season using a $5M salary for LaRoche, but you were fine using the $3M price tag.

2) You put Ryan Sweeney on the DL on 5/30, but didn't list any transaction to add someone to your roster. Looking at your team page, I think you meant to activate Howie Kendrick.

3) You should list Matt Clement and Edwin Jackson under the 1Y contracts on your team page.

4) Daryl Thompson is in the majors as of 6/21. You'll need to do some juggling of your prospect roster in the next few days.

5) You've certainly pushed the high/low minors limits to the max, much more than anyone else in the league. I still haven't seen any kind of official statement saying whether the prospect slots count against your high minors, but I think we're going to have to say that they don't so that you aren't screwed here. I think handling it this way will cause the least amount of damage to anyone who hasn't interpreted the rules this way.
